Hot-rolled steel price in Turkey market slightly rises

Due to improved demand in the local Turkish market, during the last week, the domestic and import prices of flat products in the Turkish market went up. As the hot-rolled market of Turkey turned to be stable, several mills began to receive orders for their production for October.

While Turkey claimed to launch a preliminary investigation on the imported hot-rolled coil, certain influences might appear in the market. However, at the moment it seems like these anti-dumping measures do not affect a lot the enthusiasm of buyers to purchase and export hot-rolled coils.
